And I said, I want some light. And there was light. And it was pretty rad.

So, I've gotten my Videography fire relit, and I got some money from my tax return.
This can only mean good things, right?

I think so. So I went material/equipment hunting, today
(there will be much more, tomorrow, as my mom has a discount at Lowes.

Anyway, the primary thing about today, was that I got a tripod and some work lights.
Here's the tripod
And here are the work lights, in a state of mild dissassembly.

So, the finished products, in mind, I want to take off the head of the tripod, because I'm going to use it interchangeably, between my slider, steadicam, and glidecam setups.
I got a vice grip for $10 at Aldi. I'm constantly amazed at the things I find, there.
Additionally, it's not very good, specifically the suction part.

But it was $10, and still is incredibly helpful.

Don't buy cheap things.
Meanwhile, let me continue to show you the things I'm making for super cheap.

Do as I say, not as I do.
Eh, Do some of the things I do, because sometimes, it's awesome.
You know what? Do whatever the hell you want.
That's what I do.

So, I'll grab my mini hacksaw
and remove the head. But I am an idiot, and forgot what my plan was. So, I have to cut it again.

Dumb.

 Measure once, cut twice.

Well, anyway, now it's time to bust out my drill. and start punching holes in things.

The holes will be to make way for these.

And they come together like that.

And, now I have a finished product.
And I'm actually really impressed with how it turned out, and I'm super proud of myself and it.
